About the project

Why this project matters?

The ESLTI project strengthens school leadership teams so they can manage and sustain innovation as a natural, ongoing part of school life. Many schools try new ideas or digital tools, but these efforts often fade once enthusiasm or funding ends. ESLTI helps leaders build the mindset, skills, and structures needed for long-term, meaningful change.

By working together across Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Spain, participating schools learn from each other and create strategies that make improvement continuous rather than occasional. The project builds a community of leaders who believe that lasting innovation starts from within the school itself.

Our Impact

Direct beneficiaries

The ESLTI project directly supports 48 school leadership representatives and innovation team members from 24 schools that will pilot the new innovation management approach. An additional 120 school leaders from 60 schools will join later in the mentoring phase, gaining guidance and practical experience in leading school-wide innovation. Together, these beneficiaries form a growing community of leaders committed to building sustainable innovation cultures in their schools.
